Stranger slashes man in face, runs from police in NYC attack
A stranger slashed an elderly man in an early Tuesday East Village attack – and was cuffed after trying to flee from cops, police said. Tylek McPherson, 23, cut the 67-year-old victim on the face and hand with a knife at Astor Place and East 8th Street around 2:45 a.m., authorities said.
