In the semifinal round of the 15th Region All “A” Classic at Betsy Layne High School the Paintsville Lady Tigers fell to the Belfry Lady Pirates 10-0. Things Couldn’t have gotten off to a worse start for Paintsville. The Lady Tigers couldn’t get the bats going in the top half of the first inning then in the bottom of the first, a walk and a single by Belfry led to the Lady Pirates taking a 3-0 lead after a three run home run by Molly Fahm.

Local Oak Knoll Alumni Shine at Delbarton Science Fair with Top Awards
Two former students from Oak Knoll Lower School, William Hennig and Luke Weldon, were recognized at the Delbarton School middle school science fair. The fair showcased over 70 projects from various scientific fields. William Hennig, now in seventh grade, won the Best in Biology Award for his project that compared bacteria levels in the mouths of dogs and humans. His research found that dogs' mouths contain more bacteria than humans, contrary to popular belief.
