QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A New York City Department of Education employee was accused of jumping a turnstile at a Queens subway station on Wednesday, according to the NYPD. Marlee Wollman, 31, had an existing bench warrant, police said. She was taken into custody around 3:35 p.m. Wollman was charged with theft of services.

Suffolk County D.A.: Bronx man sentenced to 18 years in prison for shooting two men in Port Jefferson
Alexander Castillo Was Convicted by a Jury in August. Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced on Oct. 4 that Alexander Castillo, 27, of the Bronx, was sentenced to 18 years in prison, following his trial conviction of Assault, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and other related charges. Castillo had shot two men following a dispute at a Port Jefferson pool hall in December 2022.
