PVC Large School Track and Field Championships – May 25
The PVC Large School Track and Field Championships were held at Brewer High School on Saturday, May 25th. The Bangor Girls 4x100 Meter Relay Team of Madeline Thai, Sophia Chase, Bayley Fryer and Jalynn Williams set a PVCI Record of 50.40, beating the previous record held by MDI set in 2018 with a time of 50.84.

It's become one of our absolute favorite days of the year because we get to break the rules for a great cause and throw caution to the wind for 13 hours!. Bucksport Beats GSA 19-1 in 3 Innings
The Bucksport Lady Bucks beat the George Stevens Academy Eagles 19-1 in Blue Hill on Friday, May 17th. The game was stopped after 3 innings because of the 15-run rule. Bucksport scored 11 runs in the 1st, 1 run in the 2nd innings and 7 runs in the 3rd inning.
MDI High School Fills 4 Fall Coaching Vacancies
MDI High School Athletic Director Bunky Dow announced on Friday afternoon that the 4 fall coaching vacancies have been filled. Girls JV Coach: Emily Boyle. Emily graduated from UMaine-Farmington with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness. She played 5 years of soccer at UMF and was the team's captain during the 2023-2024 season. Emily has coached at the recreation level.
