Tiger Woods was in South Jersey last week to check up on the construction of a new golf course he co-owns with Millville baseball star Mike Trout. Golfing legend Tiger Woods made a local visit last week to oversee the design at Trout National - The Reserve, a championship-style” golf course that is a collaborative project between Woods, Millville native and Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout and local developer John Ruga.
Florence rallies to knock off Pitman - Baseball recap
Down to its last licks at the plate, Florence rallied to force extra innings and pulled out a 4-2 victory over the Panthers in Pitman. Florence (6-10) tallied two runs during the top of the seventh inning to tie the game and then pushed two runs across during the top of the eighth inning to take the lead.
