CLOSED: First Federal Park Closing May 17
Major Upgrades Announced for First Federal Bank Park in Twin Falls. The City of Twin Falls and First Federal Bank have jointly announced two major projects at the First Federal Bank Park, located at the Sunway Soccer Complex at North College Road and Sunway Drive. Starting May 20, work will commence on replacing the current playground surface and reconstructing the park’s splash pad. The park is closing May 17,2024 to begin preparations.
Join the Cleanup Effort at Snake River Canyon This Saturday
On Saturday, May 18, 2024, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Twin Falls District, along with local groups and Jerome County, will host a community cleanup at the north rim of Snake River Canyon in Twin Falls, Idaho. This event, part of a 25-year tradition, aims to tackle illegal dumping and vandalism in the area. Volunteers are welcome and should arrive prepared with appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, gloves, rakes, and shovels. The cleanup starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m., with the meeting point at the Snake River Canyon Park kiosk on Golf Course Road.
