Many are worn out, and living weekend to weekend until Memorial Day rolls around. Instead of wasting the weekend away, have some fun by attending one or multiple of the many events that are taking place in the Magic Valley.

New Store in Twin Falls Now Open and Having Grand Opening
The Magic Valley is continuing to grow, specifically Twin Falls. Part of that is new businesses moving in all the time. When a new store opens, it is exciting to see what they have and what they offer to the area. It also means a grand opening will likely happen, and those can be a ton of fun, and sometimes lead to free stuff, depending on the type of business. The time for another grand opening has arrived, as a new store in Twin Falls is now open and is set to announce its arrival this weekend.
The Coolest Yard Sale Sign in Idaho Ever
I did a double-take. There were two of these signs. One at each end of Park Avenue in Twin Falls. You can see a lot of yard sales in spring and summer, but unless you’re passing by one and see something you like, you probably won’t stop. For people living on streets without a lot of traffic, you need some marketing skills to get the public’s attention. What I liked about the signs was the play on words. The pronunciation of the street name matches the old child’s game.

50 Years Ago This Week Idaho Was Buried in Snow
I’ve been grumbling about the weather. Then I came across a post over the weekend on Facebook. The good folks who operate the Cove in Twin Falls posted some 50-year-old pictures on Facebook. May 4th, 1974. Get a load of that snow! It puts things in perspective now, doesn’t it?
