A new neighborhood in Hornell? IDA targets single family home development on West Street
Hornell has added new lofts, town houses and affordable apartments across the city over the last several years. The city’s Industrial Development Agency hopes so. The IDA has acquired approximately seven acres on West Street with the intent of marketing the property to developers of single family homes. The IDA purchased a pair of parcels at 67 and 69 West St. for $75,000.
