ECS Elementary Students Receive Great Gift
ELLICOTTVILLE - Ellicottville Elementary’s Pre-K program has received a rather exciting addition this winter. Through a donation made by the Bob McCarthy Foundation, the program has been able to purchase full class sets of snow pants that are to be housed in each classroom. This new addition has enabled pre-K classes to continue outdoor learning and play through Ellicottville’s coldest months.
Local Students Shine in Trivia, SAT Prep, and Science Fair: Updates from March 4th School Announcement
The announcement on Monday, March 4, 2024, started with a trivia question from the previous Friday about Martha Van Rensselaer. She was a woman from Cattaraugus County with a building named after her at Cornell University. She was known for her WW1 food and clothing conservation work and received an award from the king of Belgium. Chase Caldwell and Jacob McHenry answered the trivia question correctly.
