Catskill Central School District Recognized with Top Safety Award: A Win for Our Local Schools
The Catskill Central School District (CCSD) has received the 2024 Titanium-level School Safety Excellence Award from the Utica National Insurance Group. This is the group's top safety award. The award includes a certificate and a $500 prize, meant to improve safety in the district.

The Department of Student Support and Special Education is holding its second annual Special Education Community Resources Fair on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The fair will be at the RCS High School Library from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Catskill High School Students to Showcase Artwork at 35th Questar III Annual Exhibition
Michael Vazquez, Jiana McDonald, and Elizabeth Gutman, students from Catskill High School, will display their artwork at the Questar III 35th Annual Juried High School Art Exhibit. The exhibit, running from April 8-26 at the Questar III Central Office in Castleton, allows three students from each district in the region to participate.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk School District Honored for Music Education for Seventh Year Running
The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District (RCS) has received the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation for the seventh year in a row. This designation is awarded to districts that show a strong commitment to comprehensive music education. The selection process required RCS to provide information about their music program, including funding, graduation requirements, student participation, instruction time, facilities, and community involvement. This information was then verified and assessed by The Music Research Institute at the University of Kansas.
