Caney Valley News Academic team takes 2nd place in Chelsea
The Caney Valley Froshmore Academic team competed in the OAAC Froshmore State Academic Meet in El Reno Saturday and finished 3rd in their pool. This qualified them to advance to bracket play in the afternoon. The team finished 2-7 for the day. Freshmen Aiden Marsheck and Ryan Schnelle led the team with 160 and 145 points apiece while freshman Steven Bonner added 20. Sophomore Kennedy Virden and freshman Logan Whitehead also contributed to the team.
