HILLSDALE — A Jonesville man arrested Feb. 4 by the Michigan State Police on a warrant charging him with dealing in methamphetamines and multiple weapons offenses entered into a plea bargain Monday, Oct. 14, in the 1st Judicial Circuit Court. JACKSON COUNTY, MI – A man accused of shooting his girlfriend with a pellet gun, sparking Jackson-area schools to go into lockdown is a free man. Charges against Brian Sutton were dismissed Thursday, Oct. 17, during a preliminary examination before Jackson County District Judge Allison Bates, who, shortly after hearing testimony from the alleged victim, ruled the testimony provided did not align with the charges.
