Local Colleges SUNY Adirondack and SUNY Plattsburgh Queensbury to Announce Dual Admission Agreement
SUNY Adirondack and SUNY Plattsburgh Queensbury will hold a special event on April 15, 2024, at the Northwest Bay Conference Center, Adirondack Hall. The event will mark the signing of a dual admission agreement between the two colleges. This agreement aims to streamline the process for students to earn an associate degree from SUNY Adirondack and then transfer to SUNY Plattsburgh at Queensbury for a bachelor’s degree.
Local Queensbury Elementary Students to Experience Total Solar Eclipse on Field Trip
Two third-grade classes from Queensbury Elementary School are preparing for a field trip to view the total solar eclipse on April 8. Teachers Kathy Edwards and Samantha Horowitz will guide the students to SUNY Plattsburgh, a location directly in the eclipse's path. Queensbury will only see a partial solar eclipse, but the students will see the full event at Plattsburgh.
