HESPERIA – The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) announced, September 6, the grant recipients for the Farm to School program. Encore High School received a $200,000 grant to provide hands-on learning through cooking classes.

The advisory remains in effect until 8 PM PDT Saturday, with daytime highs expected to range from 102 to 107°F. Overnight lows are predicted to stay in the upper 70s, offering minimal relief from the heat and creating a moderate to major heat risk.
