Retired Dows Art Teacher, Kathy Young, Continues to Inspire Through Her Global Art Journey
Kathy Young, a retired art teacher from Dows, Iowa, has shared her life journey and love for art. During her college years, she worked in Germany and Japan, later earning her bachelor's degree in art education from Dana College, Nebraska. She taught in Iceland and the Azore Islands, Portugal, for the Department of Defense, earning recognition as District Teacher of the Year and a finalist for Riverside County Teacher of the Year.
