Bloomfield Memorial Day Parade Will Close Broad Street for Hours on Monday
BLOOMFIELD, NJ- whether you are coming to watch the parade, visiting friends or just running errands, be advised that Broad Street in Bloomfield will be closed on Monday, May 27 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the annual Bloomfield Memorial Day Parade. The parade kicks off at 9 a.m. at Broad Street and Bay Avenue and continues down Broad Street to Liberty Street. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER The parade traditionally includes various Military and Veteran Organizations; Bloomfield Police, Fire, EMS and Public Works Departments; Bloomfield Community Organizations; sports teams; Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts; marching bands; Bloomfield Cruisers Classic Cars, and specialty vehicles. The Bloomfield Police Department asks that from 7-2 you please plan an alternate route and that all cars must be moved from Broad St. All vehicles that are not moved are subject to being issued a ticket and towed.
