Winter Delights in Jackson: What to Eat? Pt. 3
This week has been insanely busy, but finally, Friday night has rolled around, and I've got some time to finish up the post on Jackson that I've been meaning to write. Here are a few restaurants I've been to multiple times and highly recommend! 1. Million Dollar Cowboys Bar ⭐⭐⭐ More about the experience than just dining, it's all about the Cowboy style. The food is generally American. Actually, you don't even need to order food; just grab a drink and sit in a saddle seat to really soak it in. 2. Glorietta Trattoria ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super romantic spot, perfect for dating nights. Highly recommend the refreshingly delicious beets salad 🥗, the bone marrow is decent, the bison teres major steak is tasty 🥩, and the pastas are generally fabulous 🍝. Desserts are just okay. ⚠️ Parking can be tricky, so consider using the city's on-demand shuttle. 3. Persephone Bakery ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A brunch & coffee shop that truly lives up to its Yelp brunch top rank reputation - delicious and innovative! The coffee is amazing ☕... I always make sure to grab a cup before heading back from our annual Grant Teton camping trip. 4. Gather in Jackson Hole ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a pleasant surprise! A local favorite that really stands out. Great vibe and excellent happy hour deals. The pork shank is a must-try! Absolutely delicious! 🍖 Also, the Brussels sprouts and French onion dip are pretty good. Here are a couple of restaurants I've been wanting to try but either they were closed or the snowy, slippery roads made it too difficult: 1. Gun Barrel Steak House - Heard it's quite an experience but it was closed off-season when we tried to go. Should be open now. 2. Local Restaurant & Bar - Really want to try their tomahawk steak. 🥩 Coffee shop recommendation: Cowboy Coffee. ⚠️ Steer clear of Snake River Roasting Company, their coffee was really disappointing... and the beans were just average!
