The Right and Wrong Ways to Have Easter Egg Hunts in Idaho
Easter is fast approaching, and plenty of Easter egg hunts have happened around the Magic Valley already, but there are plenty to still take place this weekend. The weather can often play a factor in how successful a hunt is. This past weekend, the weather and rain made it tough at times to have an enjoyable hunt, but the kids still were able to hunt, which they found a way to enjoy, while their parents were cold. This is out of the control of everyone, but there are things that those putting on an Easter egg hunt can control. What is the proper way to have an Easter egg hunt in Idaho, and what are the most successful rules, and ones that upset parents?
Your Chance to Be Heard About Transportation in the Magic Valley
When cities get to a certain size, just a quick walk to pick up groceries becomes impossible for some residents. After reaching a population of over 50,000, Twin Falls is now included in that designation. Transportation throughout the city is an ongoing issue to be addressed. What Transit is Available...
Town in the Magic Valley Should Be Punished for Bad Behavior
Owning a pet is a big responsibility. You have to feed it, love it, train it, find care for it when you are out of town, and continue to do all these things for many years. Owning a pet is no easy task, and it can be stressful at times. They can be destructive, loud, annoying, and make your house stink. Despite all the negatives, many still love their pets, and wouldn't want to do life without them. One major part of owning a pet is keeping it safe and having a place for it to call home, but from time to time the animals will get out. It happens, but should it happen as frequently as it does in one Magic Valley town? Should residents in this town be punished for not doing what they need to do, and letting the same issue occur over and over?

Be Alert or Die in the Magic Valley This Season
The weather in Idaho is unpredictable and getting excited for spring can often be a letdown. There will be nice days, giving residents hope, to then see two to three more weeks of snow and winter weather follow, dashing any actual hope of spring. That time is here again, as the temperature is set to rise this weekend, into next week, giving many hope that winter is now in the past. With the nicer weather, it brings out more drivers that have avoided the winter conditions. The problem is that many of these drivers haven't been on the road much in the last four or five months, and they appear to have forgotten how to drive. You have to be alert and aware on the roads this time of year, or it could lead to an accident, or worse, death.
Southern Idaho ‘BOOMS’ – What Are They?
Social media has been going crazy over the last 48 hours with inquires about loud 'booms' heard around Southern Idaho. If you've lived in the Twin Falls area for any length of time, you are probably familiar with the occasional bouts of rumbles we feel from time to time. It's not unusual for the booms to resonate throughout a building and shake windows, debatably similar to what you might feel during an small earthquake. But these (usually) are not earthquakes... So what are they?
