Dr. Timothy Sippel Named Next Superintendent of Malden Public Schools
The Malden School Committee is pleased to announce Dr. Timothy Sippel as the next Superintendent of Schools effective July 1, 2024, pending contract negotiations. The announcement comes after a vote of the School Committee last Thursday evening following the recommendations put forth by a Search Committee led by School Committee members Sharyn Rose-Zeiberg and Jennifer Spadafora. The Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC) assisted with the selection process which was a collaborative effort involving feedback from the community and a panel made up of school principals, educators, directors, support staff, caregivers, and the City’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer.
