Free Smoke Alarm Installation Available for Dyer Residents in Fire Safety Initiative
The Dyer Fire Department, with the State Fire Marshal’s office, is launching a new initiative to install free smoke alarms in the local community. This is part of a statewide effort to increase fire safety awareness in Tennessee. State Fire Marshal Julie Mix McPeak stressed the need for working smoke alarms and a practiced fire escape plan in every home, as these can save lives.
