Akron man gets life in prison for 2022 fatal shooting
AKRON, Ohio — An Akron man who pleaded guilty to the 2022 fatal shooting of a 26-year-old man was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison. Martell King, 28, will be eligible for parole after serving at least 15 years in prison, Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich says in a news release. He was placed on Ohio’s Violent Offender Database and must register annually for the next 10 years.
