Cajun Boil and Shake permanently closed
Cajun Boil and Shake, a bar and restaurant specializing in seafood boils, closed for good last week after a little more than two years in East Hyde Park. The eatery, the first Chicago outpost for the suburban franchise Cajun Boil and Bar, closed suddenly in late September, with a sign on the door reading “NOTICE PERMANENTLY CLOSED.” Restaurant ownership and representatives from TLC Management, the building’s property manager, could not be reached for comment as of press time.
