On Saturday, Sept. 28 — The Big E’s second to last day — 146,722 people attended the West Springfield fair, according to The Big E. During the 17-day fair’s 2024 run, it has broken seven attendance records. On Saturday, Sept. 21, The Big E broke its all-time, single-day record with 178,608 people in attendance.
