Chargers Spring Sports Teams Sweep Division Championships
SPOTSWOOD, NJ - For the second straight spring athletic season, Spotswood High School spring sports teams have won their respective Greater Middlesex Conference Division titles. It was back-to-back division titles for the Chargers baseball, golf, softball and boys tennis teams. For the Chargers' softball program, it was the third consecutive division title. YORK, Pa. -- The Staten Island FerryHawks are back in first place after hitting their way to a 12-7 victory over the York Revolution at WellSpan Park on Sunday. It was another strong offensive performance for Staten Island. Robert Brooks’ two-homer, five-RBI performance led the way for the FerryHawks. Ben Norman’s bat stayed hot, going 3 for 5 with two RBI. Nate Scantlin went 2 for 6 with two RBI, Taylor Motter went 3 for 5 with an RBI and Pablo Sandoval contributed with a 2-for-5, two-RBI performance.
