Evansville Haunted House Named One of the Best in Indiana by Scare Factor
Evansville's newest haunted attraction is already making a name for itself in the scare industry. If you're a haunted house fan, you'll want to check out a website called The Scare Factor. They are a huge online directory of haunted houses across the United States. They not only point you to information about the haunted houses in your area, but they also often rate the haunted houses. Recently they created a countdown of the top 13 "Must See Indiana Haunts," and to be totally honest I figured the list would contain mostly Indianapolis-area haunts, just because many of these style lists focus around the biggest city in the state.
Princeton Native Serves Aboard Future Navy Warship
U.S. Navy sailors serve and protect around the globe, including Petty Officer 2nd Class Bradley Willis, a native of Princeton, Indiana. The U.S. Navy is among the largest in the world, with well over 300,000 active-duty personnel and over 100,000 in reserve. Individuals entering the U.S. Navy can choose from over 150 roles to utilize their unique talents and skills, and every one of those fields is open to both men and women. Many people from our area have served or are currently serving in the fleet, including one sailor from Gibson County, Indiana.

Water main break closes Mesker Park Drive
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A water main break closed Mesker Park Drive in Evansville Friday. Video taken on the scene shows a geyser of water shooting out of the road while workers try to repair the break. Officials say the break happened at 1:40 p.m.. Crews are working to get the break fixed.
