ALL-AMERICA x2: Herbster finishes third in hammer at 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships
Josh Herbster, a senior from Shippensburg University, earned an All-America distinction by finishing third in the hammer throw at the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Emporia State University in Kansas. Herbster, seeded sixth, threw 209 feet, 8 inches (63.90 meters) in his first attempt during the prelims, securing a top nine finish that advanced him to the finals. His final throw improved to 211 feet, 10 inches (64.56 meters), solidifying his third-place result.
