Tompkins Cortland Community College Celebrates Student Achievements at Annual Leadership Awards
Tompkins Cortland Community College held its annual Leadership Awards luncheon on May 1, 2024. The event recognized students, student clubs, and campus organizations for their contributions over the past academic year. Wendy Nguabenemutu-Samani received the Student Leader of the Year Award for her leadership skills. Maddie Blide earned the Resiliency Award for overcoming personal and academic challenges. Kylie Golden-Appleton was named New Student of the Year for her academic success and school spirit. The Student Government Association won the Outstanding Organization Award for enhancing student experiences. The Debate Club received the New Organization of the Year Award for its successful first year. The Outdoor Adventure Club's Haunted Trails event won the Program of the Year Award.
