Here's a look at the second week of action for Whaling City Youth Baseball. South Coast Towing 6, Palace Pizza 2: Brayden Douglas and Cam Messier were locked in to start the week for the Tow Company as the dynamic duo would combine to scatter just four Palace hits while striking out six. Jose Martinez started the scoring with a home run in the first inning to stake his team to an early lead that they would never relinquish. Messier, Douglas, and Brayden Oliver all contributed at the plate. Oliver had two hits with the big blow being a bases clearing three-RBI triple in the fourth inning. Liam Cubero continued his fine play for the Pizza Crew with two hits. With the win South Coast improves to 3-0 on the season.
