North Carolina Hospital Tops in Patient Safety. Here’s how others locally compare.
UNC Health Rex in Raleigh has once again been named one of the best hospitals in the country by the Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit that focuses on patient safety. According to Leapfrog's latest report, UNC Health Rex earned straight A’s, making it one of only 15 hospitals nationwide to maintain this record since the evaluations began in 2012. It's the only hospital in North Carolina with this distinction.
