đ§ Update: Bridge Construction Closes LA-531 Near Nursery Rd. in Dubberly
The time displayed is local to the original 511 traffic site in Louisiana. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has provided an update for motorists in Webster Parish. Starting Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 12:00 PM, the LA-531 bridge just south of the intersection with LA 532 in Dubberly will be closed for urgent repairs. The bridge undergoing construction spans an unnamed waterway, immediately south of LA 532.This closure is deemed necessary following assessments of the bridge's structure. As it stands, the exact date for reopening the bridge remains uncertain; however, the DOTD will circulate further updates as soon as more information becomes available.In light of the total road closure, all vehicles will be rerouted, with detour signage clearly placed to guide the flow of traffic. The DOTD has made clear that the commencement of the repair work is dependent on favorable weather conditions.Security measures have been put in place to protect the welfare of the community.
