Community Support at Lenoir City Park Bolsters LCSO K9 Division
Last Wednesday, an event took place at Lenoir City Park to mark K9 Veterans Day and support the LCSO K9 Division. The event, sponsored by Patriot Homes Team at Keller Williams Realty, included raffles and contributions from local businesses.\n\nDuring the event, three LCSO K9 teams demonstrated their skills and allowed attendees to interact with them. This session helped the community understand the roles of the K9 units better.\n\nThe event raised about $5,000, which will be used to buy new tracking harnesses and add two new K9s to the division. A dispute surrounding the operation of a limestone quarry on a Greenback property known as Hutton Farm has resulted in lawsuits filed by entities on both sides of the issue.
