The Kansas football program showed improvement last season when it comes to playing at a consistent level on the road. KU lost its last four road games during the 2022 season and went 2-4 on the road during the year. Last season, KU flipped that and went 3-2 on the road, with wins in its final two road games of the season at Iowa State and at Cincinnati. In fact, both of those games were night contests.

Dole VA Medical Center earns five stars from CMS
WICHITA, Kan. — For the second year in a row, the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center earned a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in their annual Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings. Only 8.2% (381) of the 4,658 hospitals surveyed received a 5-star rating this year, placing the Dole VA Medical Center in elite company.
Kansas State running back DJ Giddens: Underrated to undeniable
Cool, quiet, and underrated describe Kansas State star running back DJ Giddens. However, "elite" may now be the word that comes to mind when his name is mentioned. Giddens has developed into a true every-down back that can be used both as a receiving back and an effective runner while enduring minimal wear and tear. His performance against Tulane on Saturday, where he ran for 114 yards, moved him to 12th all-time in K-State history with 1,982 rushing yards in his career. His 5.7 yards per carry over his three years place him second only to Darren Sproles in K-State history. Additionally, he logged four catches for 63 yards, which led the team in receiving yards during the game, along with a crucial 45-yard touchdown on fourth and one in the third quarter.
