Monument moved on Kansas State Fairgrounds
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — If someone asked you - have you seen the Rose Garden Memorial monument dedicated to early Reno County Pioneers at the Kansas State Fair? What would you say? Well, most people haven't seen it although it has been there since 1961. It was hidden behind a vendor and some metal college mascots just northeast of the Information and Visitor's Center.
Dole VA Medical Center earns five stars from CMS
WICHITA, Kan. — For the second year in a row, the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center earned a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in their annual Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings. Only 8.2% (381) of the 4,658 hospitals surveyed received a 5-star rating this year, placing the Dole VA Medical Center in elite company.
