Charge of possession dismissed for Hoehle
A felony charge of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance was dismissed against Daniel Gene Hoehle, 38, Little Falls, in Morrison County District Court. The charge stemmed from a March 5 incident. The charges were dismissed because of a plea agreement involving another case in which he is being committed to prison for 21 months, according to County Attorney Brian Middendorf.

Morrison County Attorney’s Office filed felony complaints against the following individuals: • Steven George Ziegler, 23, Cushing — In connection with an April 11 incident, Ziegler was charged with one felony count of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, one gross misdemeanor count of third-degree DWI and one misdemeanor count of driving after revocation. • Duane Isack Jackson, 52, Little Falls — In connection with an April 9 incident, Jackson was charged with one felony count of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of fourth-degree DWI.

Veterans on the Hill Day at the Minnesota State Capitol
Morrison County Disabled American Veterans Chapter # 12 is taking the lead in getting veterans in the Morrison and Todd counties area to attend the Minnesota Veterans Day on the Hill at the State Capitol on Wednesday, April 17. There will be a free bus ride to the event at the Minnesota State Capitol building in St. Paul. The bus will leave the Walmart parking lot in Little Falls around 7 a.m. on April 17. DAV Minnesota State Department has many legislative bills before the State legislature during this legislative session.
