Celebrate Summer's Start with Latin GRAMMY® Nominee Flor Bromley at Local Community Room Concert
Flor Bromley, a 2023 Latin GRAMMY® nominee and bilingual singer/songwriter from Peru, will host a concert on June 26th at 3:00 PM to mark the beginning of summer. The event, suitable for children aged 3 and older and their families, will be held in the Community Room on the 3rd floor. The concert will feature a mix of global rhythms, bilingual songs, storytelling, and puppetry, reflecting Bromley's background in musical theatre and education. Attendees must register in advance, with priority given to residents of the Mahopac Central School District. KLSD 'Rock the Halls' Concert Returns on May 17
CROSS RIVER, N.Y. - A community favorite event to benefit a great cause returns this week with the 15th annual "Rock the Halls" concert on Friday, May 17, at 6:30 p.m. at the John Jay Middle School Theater. The stage will come alive with more than 60 talented student singers and musicians, accompanied by the band Halfway to Sanity! New Movie Theater/Bar and Arcade Coming to Hudson Valley
Story Screen Cinema will feature a 3-screen theater, arcade, bar and restaurant. Story Screen was started by Mike Burdge back in 2014 as a way to share his love of movies through pop-up film screenings and interactive movie-themed events, partnering with local businesses throughout the city of Beacon, NY, and the Hudson Valley. Eventually Story Screen settled in at the Beacon Movie Theater, keeping it going through COVID and helping build a drive-in.
