13-year-old among teens arrested in connection to shooting
WHEATON-GLENMONT, Md. — Two teens are in custody in connection to a shooting in Wheaton. Police say they are facing multiple charges of first-degree assault. According to police, a 15-year-old and 13-year-old boy were arrested for a shooting along Glenmont Circle Tuesday afternoon. An investigation revealed that the two teens got into an argument with another group of teens prior to the shooting.

BALTIMORE - The mental health crisis among children is a growing concern. With children now back in class, there's more of a push this year to address student mental health. According to the National Association of School Psychologists, most states, including Maryland, do not have enough school psychologists. The NASP says every school should have a ratio of 1 school psychologists to 500 students. But in Maryland that ration is worse, with 1,066 students per school psychologist instead.
