Exploring the Delights of Gordon Tavern: From Wedge Salads to Brick Oven Pizzas
Stepping into Gordon Tavern feels like entering a cozy haven, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the nearby shops. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, complemented by a staff that’s both friendly and attentive, making every dining experience special. The highlight of my visit was definitely the food. The wedge salad was a refreshing start, with crisp iceberg lettuce, creamy blue cheese, and crunchy bacon bits. It’s a must-try for salad enthusiasts. But the real star of the show was their pizza, baked in a brick oven that ensures each slice is a perfect blend of gooey cheese and crispy crust. Whether you opt for a classic Margherita or venture into the truffle mushroom, it’s a delightful experience for your taste buds. While some dishes like the chicken sliders from the happy hour menu didn’t hit the mark for me, the overall vibe and the standout dishes make Gordon Tavern a place I’d gladly recommend for a casual yet memorable meal. If you skip dessert here, a stroll to Handel's for some ice cream is a sweet end to your visit.
