It was a tough game on Oct. 4, as the Bloomfield High football team dropped a 38-0 decision to East Orange Campus, at Foley Field.Bloomfield fell to 2-4 with the setback. LIVINGSTON, NJ — Thirteen Livingston High School (LHS) students have been named to College Board’s National Recognition Program, which is an annual honor celebrating top-performing high school students who belong to communities historically underrepresented on college campuses. The recently announced 2023–2024 awards recognized 25% more student recipients than last year and introduced a new award called the National First-Generation Recognition Program, which was presented to more than 35,000 students with the chance to be celebrated for what they know and can do. ROSELLE, NJ - Kindergarten Success Academy in Roselle invites parents to an interactive virtual workshop designed to help their children build early writing skills. The Kindergarten Success Academy says the workshop covers strategies to help young students practice their writing skills at home, from forming letters to creating simple stories. CLARK, NJ — On Monday, September 30, Valley Road Elementary School held its Reading Kickoff Assembly. Students and staff dressed up as their favorite storybook characters as they learned about the reading program and its goals for this year, which includes completing a monthly reading log. HBCU-Backed High School To Open Next Fall In NYC
A new high school in New York City will feature a first-ever early college program supported by an HBCU. Students at the Queens-based high school can enroll in the program to earn college credits before graduation. In its partnership with Delaware State University (DSU), the school will begin admitting students next fall.
