Elkton's Memorial Day Parade set for Monday morning
ELKTON — The Elkton Alliance is inviting folks to flock downtown Elkton Monday to watch their annual Memorial Day Parade. The parade begins at 11 a.m. and will travel a mile-long route from High Street to North Street, Railroad Avenue and Bow Street, making the turn onto Main Street to pass the judges. Local food, drinks and live entertainment will also be featured along the parade route as Cecil County businesses turn out in remembrance of those who fought for the country. There is still time to register to participate in the parade itself. The theme, as always, is to pay tribute to those who died while serving their country, or a patriotic theme.
