It’s a no to pickleball and a yes to wildlife for Seattle’s Lincoln Park
After almost a year of campaigning, wildlife advocates in Seattle were handed a win this week. A city plan to place six pickleball courts on a disused tennis court pad in Lincoln Park in West Seattle has been scrapped.

It’s time to celebrate graduations of all sorts, and that very special Sunday in June, Father’s Day. This year Father’s Day falls on Sunday, June 16, and millions of fathers will receive a tie, golf balls or maybe a set of tools. While graduates will probably find themselves with a sea of gift cards, practical but a bit impersonal.
