After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hoehne, the La Veta Redhawks were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Walsh by a score of 50-37. The score was all tied up 23-23 at the break, but La Veta was the better team in the second half.

Hoehne is 10-0 against Walsenburg since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hoehne Farmers just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Walsenburg Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on February 13th. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hoehne has 12 straight wins, Walsenburg has 14 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
