Warrensburg Central Triumphs at Local Envirothon Held at County Fish Hatchery
On May 1, 2024, the Warren County Fish Hatchery hosted the annual 'Envirothon' school science competition, organized by the Warren County Soil & Water Conservation District. The event attracted seventy high school students from six local districts: Warrensburg, North Warren, Johnsburg, Lake George, Prospect School, and Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex BOCES. These students participated in environmental science challenges across five topics: wildlife, forestry, aquatic ecology, soil, and renewable energy.

On Thursday, April 25th, 2024, maintenance crews will be conducting litter removal operations from 07:30 AM to 02:30 PM. During this timeframe, the right shoulder will be closed to traffic on NY 29 in both directions between West Avenue in Saratoga Springs and Sacandaga Road in Galway. Motorists are advised to exercise caution and should expect minor delays. Please plan your route accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
