Attention motorists: Upcoming fence repairs are scheduled for Monday, April 22nd, 2024, from 07:30 AM to 02:30 PM on NY 50 in both directions between I-87 Exit 15 and US 9 at Church Street, encompassing NY 9N, Lake Avenue, and NY 29 in Saratoga Springs. During this maintenance window, the right shoulder will be closed to traffic. Please plan your travel accordingly, expect potential delays, and consider alternate routes if possible. Warren County Job Fairs Connect Local Students with Summer Employment Opportunities
The Warren County Department of Workforce Development organized three job fairs this spring, connecting over 1,500 job seekers from the area with 50 local employers. These job fairs targeted high school students from grades 8-12 and were held at Queensbury High School on March 20th, Glens Falls High School on April 11th, and Lake George Jr-Sr High School on April 17th. The last event also included community members.

Local Employment Opportunities: Warren County Job Fair at Lake George High School on April 17
The staff at Warren County Department of Workforce Development has organized a job fair that will feature 40 or so employers in Lake George on Wednesday, April 17. This event will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lake George Jr-Sr High School, 340 Canada Street. This hiring event will include employers with both seasonal and year-round employment opportunities, and it is open to students as well as the general public. Schuylerville CSD Announces 'Purple Up! For Military Kids' Day on April 24th
April is designated as the Month of the Military Child or “Purple Up! For Military Kids.” States and school districts across the country will engage in special activities and wear purple to honor the critical role military children play, and recognize the unique challenges they face while their service member parents serve the country.
