Free Museum Entry for Military Families at Skidmore’s Tang Teaching Museum This Summer
The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College has joined the 2024 Blue Star Museums initiative. This program provides free admission to U.S. military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day on May 18, 2024, to Labor Day on September 2, 2024. It is a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and various U.S. museums. The initiative aims to offer military families access to cultural experiences during their summer travels or when relocating for duty.
🚧 Roadwork Update: Lane Closure on NY 50 in Saratoga Springs
The time displayed is local to the original 511 traffic site in NewYork. Attention, residents and commuters: Roadwork on New York State Route 50 is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This maintenance work will involve brush removal activities and is set to occur from the City of Saratoga Springs to the Town of Wilton line, extending to US 9 at Church Street, including NY 9N, Lake Avenue, and NY 29 intersections. During this time, one right lane out of three will be closed to traffic. Please plan your travel accordingly and expect potential delays in the area. Drive carefully and adhere to roadwork signage and instructions from traffic controllers.
