Alliance gets cleanup for fall season
Alliance-area residents gathered Saturday to help beautify the city’s downtown, in time for fall activities planned in the area. The group spent a few hours picking up trash after starting at the Carnation Caboose off of East Main Street. As part of the event, which was planned by Main Street Alliance, area residents could purchase planters donated by Keep Alliance Beautiful. Available while supplies last, they can be purchased at The Troll Hole Museum. Among the items were begonias at $1 apiece, or three for $12. Sweet potato plants are $5 for one or $three for $12. Papyrus also is available for $20 apiece. This article originally appeared on The Alliance Review: Alliance gets cleanup for fall season
