Twelve of the best girls track and field teams in Minnesota will vie for the state Class AAA True Team title, beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Stillwater High School. Edina dominates Lake boys golf meet with 287 score
Defending state champion Edina made a statement in winning the Lake Conference boys golf title earlier this month. At the conference meet, all six of the Hornet players shot 74 or lower for 18 holes. That gave the Hornets a team score of 287. Buffalo was a distant second with 307 and Minnetonka took third with 308. Edina was led by junior Torger Ohe and senior Jimmy Abdo. who shot 71s to share medalist honors with junior Harvey Yitalo of Buffalo. Other scores for Edina were sophomore David Colby 72, sophomore Sander Ohe 73, freshman Chase Larson 74 and senior Ben Sanderson 74. Joining the six Edina golfers in the top 10 at the conference meet were three boys who shot 75s - Minnetonka junior Alex Lee, Wayzata sophomore Tyler Hoppe and Minnetonka sophomore Tyler Loch.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. — The St. Thomas Academy baseball team is learning to play through the grief and pain of losing a teammate.The Cadets are playing for more than themselves this baseball season. Minnetonka boys place third in state True Team track
No one who follows Minnetonka High boys track was surprised to see senior captain Tobias Williams win three events in state True Team competition May 17 at Stillwater High School. Williams’ wins in the 100- and 200-meter dashes and the long jump propelled Minnetonka to third place in the 12-team event. The Skipper supported their leader with some other impressive performances.
