There was no happiness hangover for the St. Xavier Bombers in the Ohio High School Athletic Association boys volleyball Division I state championship. After defeating Olentangy Liberty in four sets in the state semifinals in what could have been a dream state championship match, the Bombers clinched volleyball title No. 4, the first since 2019, in a sweep of Cleveland St. Ignatius 25-10, 25-21, 25-22.
