St. Vincent-St. Mary, Independence boys volleyball ousted in Division II OHSAA state semifinals
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Both St. Vincent-St. Mary and Independence made return appearances in the Division II OHSAA boys volleyball state semifinals on Saturday. For Independence, its season ended right where it did last year, in the semifinals. Last season, the first OHSAA state tournament for boys volleyball, it was three-game sweep by Columbus St. Francis DeSales that stopped the Blue Devils. On Saturday, Cincinnati Archbishop McNicholas stopped them in a three-game sweep (25-15, 25-12, 25-18).
