District Seeks Donations for Remaining Costs of Athletic Venue Phase II at Lewiston High School
LEWISTON - Construction is underway on Phase II of the athletic venues at Lewiston High School. The district says the venues "will provide state-of-the-art outdoor athletic facilities enabling our students to excel in their respective sports and benefit our community. These venues will cater to a range of important programs, such as Marching Band, Soccer, Softball, Baseball, Track & Field, and Football."
Lewiston Independent School District Among 31 Districts, Charters in Idaho to Receive Funding for Vape Detectors
BOISE - Schools across Idaho, including Lewiston Independent School District, will soon equip their high school bathrooms and locker rooms with vape detectors, thanks to funding from the Vape Detector Pilot grant. This measure, funded by the Idaho Millennium Fund and administered by the Idaho Department of Education, is aimed at curbing student vaping and enhancing school safety.
LC State Campus is Again Recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation
LEWISTON – For the fourth straight year, Lewis-Clark State College has been recognized as a Tree Campus Higher Education institution by the Arbor Day Foundation. The award is a recognition by the Arbor Day Foundation of LC State’s commitment to effective urban forest management.
