Jury: Kansas woman guilty in killing outside gentlemen’s club
SEDGWICK COUNTY- A Kansas will be sentenced next month for her role in a deadly shooting outside of a Wichita strip club. Last week, a jury found 33-year-old Autumn Metcalf guilty of first-degree murder and solicitation to commit first-degree murder in the death of 33-year-old Joe Wheeler III, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney' office.

Dole VA Medical Center earns five stars from CMS
WICHITA, Kan. — For the second year in a row, the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center earned a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in their annual Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings. Only 8.2% (381) of the 4,658 hospitals surveyed received a 5-star rating this year, placing the Dole VA Medical Center in elite company.
